Young Hadassah United Kingdom Hosts “Midwinter’s Night Dream” Party

Young Hadassah United Kingdom continued its buzz of energy by hosting a second exciting fundraiser on the heels of its first cocktail party in support of the Hadassah Medical Organization.

Held at the trendy London nightclub, Pep-C, in the Haymarket/Piccadilly Circus area, this “Midwinter’s Night Dream” party brought out 150 guests and raised over £2,000 during an evening that its leaders describe as a “vibrant success!” The upbeat crowd was comprised of young professionals in their 20’s and 30’s, all of whom heard about the event through word of mouth or social networking tools such as Facebook. With an open bar and an electrifying DJ, the good vibes extended well beyond the dance floor. Guests supported a successful raffle that featured a diverse range of exciting prizes. Among them were donations from Met Su Yan and Lolas Gourmet Cupcakes, and tickets to see Ricky Gervais, a popular British comedian, actor, and filmmaker.

“It was great seeing the enthusiasm of the guests coming together for this second event to support Young Hadassah’s project of the Pediatric Ward renovation at Hadassah Hospital,” the Young Hadassah UK Committee reports. “We are grateful to all the guests who supported Young Hadassah.”
