Hadassah Cuba hosted a community forum about the H1N1 epidemic in December, with Epidemiologist Lizette Perez as keynote speaker. 

Rounding out this end-of-the-year program was entertainment by Guitarist David Behar, who played Cuban and Jewish songs.

Hadassah Cuba hosts health care programs on a regular basis for the community, empowering them to take the necessary steps to stay healthy. In addition, they staff a pharmacy which provides medicines to those who can’t afford to buy them.
